We will work with your organization to assess local needs, tailor the IMPaCT model and help you launch. Here is what we do: Rapid-Cycle Needs Assessment and Adaptation: The IMPaCT model was designed specifically to meet the needs of patients as assessed by in-depth qualitative studies. Many of these needs will be common across low-SES patient populations, however some important differences may exist. PCCHW can work with recipient organizations to conduct a rapid-cycle version of our qualitative needs assessment and to adapt the IMPaCT model to identified local needs. For instance, if a recipient population comprised of undocumented immigrants describes immigration status to be a health barrier, PCCHW would adapt the training to include a session on immigration advocacy.
Hiring and training: IMPaCT is fundamentally a human resource innovation. PCCHW consultants can help recipient organizations to recruit, hire and train its workforce: Directors, Managers, Community-based Interviewers, Coordinators and most importantly CHWs.
